Ralph Barber – CIO
Ralph is CIO for Digital Legal in Tampa. He is the former Chief Technology Officer of Holland & Knight LLP. Ralph has more than 20 years of experience in information technology management at large law firms. He has been named one of the top 100 Global Tech leaders by Cititech Magazine. Ralph has spoken at conferences across the country, including SIIA Informational Industrial Summit 2005, Alcatel Enterprise Forum Paris 2006, Legal Tech New York, Storage Network World 2005, and the RSA Conference 2005 where Bill Gates introduced his video presentation.
Jud Parker – President, Managing Partner
Jud founded Digital Legal Tampa, LLC, in August 2006. Jud has conducted many Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminars and participated on panel discussions regarding eDiscovery rules and best technology practices. He has over 17 years of experience in the legal services sector. For five years, Jud was both the Southeast and Northeast Regional Manager for CT Summation, the industry leader in litigation support software. He also served as Southeast Regional Manager for IPRO Tech where he developed business with service providers and law firms. In all these roles he managed accounts of the AmLaw Top 200 firms. Jud also has experience at Array Technologies, a systems integrator and legal technology provider in Manhattan, and within the litigation support department of a national law firm. Jud is a Tampa native and holds an undergraduate degree in English from Washington and Lee University.
Jonathan Wiley – Director of Business Development
Jonathan is an expert in eDiscovery. He has designed and managed projects through all phases of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). Jonathan is fluent in many industry standard and emerging litigation support applications. During his 12 year career, Jonathan has managed the outsourced discovery fulfillment for some of the nation’s largest class actions, multi-district litigations, and Second Requests in both Florida and Georgia federal and state courts. While serving Digital Legal and a prior legal technology provider, Jonathan has consulted with Fortune 500 Companies, including The Coca-Cola Company, Sun Trust, Georgia Pacific, Purdue Pharma, and GlaxoSmithKline, as well as AmLaw 100 firms, including King & Spalding, Alston & Bird, Greenberg Traurig, Holland & Knight, and Foley & Lardner. Jonathan is a Florida native from Pensacola. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
Amy Edwards – Director of Business Development
As Director of Business Development, Amy is responsible for assessing client needs, developing business, supporting sales efforts, and creating software solution strategies. She also participates in CLE presentations and speaking engagements. Prior to joining Digital Legal, Amy held a senior management role with Westlaw's Deposition Services, a Thomson Reuters business, in New York. She advised corporate and law firm clients on best practices for deposition discovery, conducted LiveNote training, and managed the discovery sales lifecycle in the New York Tri-State area. Amy previously held a consultative position with Williams Lea, a global Business Process Outsourcing company. She has acquired expertise in the field of electronic data discovery as the result of her experience within the sales, project management, and operations fields of discovery outsourcing fulfillment. Amy's services have been sought by the law firms of White & Case, Skadden Arps, Weil Gotshal, Paul Weiss, and Sullivan & Cromwell, as well as Fortune 500 corporations such as Credit Suisse, Bank of New York, and Xerox. Amy spent her early childhood in Colorado before moving to the U.K. She holds a BA (HONS) degree in International Business from the European Business School in London. |
